2013 Fun For A Cause
ReNOVATE Nigeria held a Fun for a Cause event to bring Africans in the diaspora together for a night of networking, fun, creativity and dialogue. We aim to raise the awareness of the public on ReNOVATE Nigeria’s projects and invite volunteers to participate in our efforts, all within a fun environment.
2012 Re Think Education Fundraising Gala
The ReNOVATE - ReThink Education Fundraising Gala was held at the Rutgers Newark Law Library on Saturday, July 28th at 6:30pm. This event was geared towards fundraising for the 2012 Education & Mentorship Project. The evening included a contemporary Nigerian dinner as well as exciting line up of speakers, musical performances, dance, and great people.
2011 Malaria Benefit Gala
RENOVATE's first annual gala was held with a the room filled with motivational speakers, performers, models, agents for social change, pageant queens, young professionals and avid networkers including Yetunde Odugbesan and Miss Black USA. The call for support in the recent RENOVATE malaria initiative and Africa as a whole, did not fall on deafened ears. This elegant evening, geared towards creating an awareness of the epidemic (Malaria) that claims the lives of many and fund-raising to directly provide preventive remedies, also provided a platform for leaders to shed light on the need of support within our beautiful continent, Africa! With attendees from all over the globe, the gala was a melting pot of great people with similar ideas and visions towards Africa...Renovates thanks supporters and sponsors.
